Put RecyclerView in NestedScrollView . When scrolling outside of RecyclerView everything is fine, but if you scroll through the list, there is no “throwing” effect, ie, when you release your finger, the scroll stops, but you have to tighten it up.

How can you generally make RecyclerView not responsive to a scroll so that it is NestedScrollView immediately by NestedScrollView

    Try using the RecyclerView method.

     rv.setNestedScrollingEnabled(false);
