What can be removed in Windows 10 without compromising its performance.

  1. What folders with installation files can I delete?
    I cleaned such:

    • Temp;
    • SoftwareDistribution;
    • Temporary Internet Files;
    • Downloaded Program Files;
    • History;
    • Recent;
    • Prefetch;
    • Cookies;

    Just Windows 10, after each update godlessly takes space on the hard disk. Constantly, that dokachivaet. Disabled, also the hibernation mode, freed a couple more gigabytes.

  2. Maybe you can disable something in it additionally, except for updating the system and the hibernation mode?

  3. The question is, can you describe what the folders are and what are they for? Windows. ~ BT; System.sav; Windows.old.

    All this (including Windows.old) perfectly cleans the standard Disk Cleanup :) - PashaPash

I do not think that cleaning the files manually in this case is a solution to the problem, because this is the problem of Windows, and cleaning the files is only a temporary solution.
Windows 10 has a self-cleaning feature.
This is done like this:

  1. Make a backup of the necessary information.
  2. Go to Settings> Security> Restore.
  3. Click to start and do everything according to the instructions.
