Have experience with Hibernate . Now you need to write an application for android with a built-in DBMS, of course this is SQLite . ORMLite have never worked with ORMLite , but I saw that it is popular among Android developers, should I use it? Or from the use of Hibernate I do not lose anything?

I have not heard that somewhere for Android development used Hibernate . Too large library, too much functionality not needed in the mobile application. And the initialization process is not adapted to Android.
ORMLite would be a good solution. Many large applications use it and work calmly. And to understand it is easy.
You can still look in the direction of NoSQL , for example Realm . By speed wins.
Also, for the sake of justice, already at the alpha stage there is the Room package, included in the Android SDK, for more convenient work with SQLite . But it is better to wait for the release.
