I set it up according to this instruction , the phone is configured correctly, I used it on win7. But when I write in the manifest android:debuggable="true" , underlines this line in red, and when I open the Android monitor , it writes:

 Unable to detect adb version, adb output: /home/alexeyy/Android/Sdk/platform-tools/adb: 1: /home/alexeyy/Android/Sdk/platform-tools/adb: Syntax error: ")" unexpected

And the phone android studio does not see. I tried to connect the phone as a camera and as a multimedia device. System 32-bit Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS . I saw old questions with a similar problem, they recommended to download the platform-tools package for a 32-bit system, but there are old versions of platform-tools , I did not find the latest version.

  • Solved the problem by demolishing the system and installing the 64-bit version of ubuntu . I didn’t even have to adjust according to the instructions above, everything worked by itself, the android studio sees the phone, applications are put on the phone without problems :) - AlexeyY
