How to make a semi-transparent background for the text, so that the page background is translucent?

It is impossible to make a semi-transparent background for the text, as well as trouble with the arrangement of elements on the page, for example, how to place a picture link in line with the link text?

  • site background - a picture, no text background, just a translucent fill through which you can see a picture =) - Yanka-Partizanka

This is css. Transparent background do this:

.class{ background:url(fon.jpg); opacity:0.5; }

And to impose an element on an element, use position:absolute; - this is also css. Good luck.

  1. if the text is in a div and you need to put another background on it, you would put a background with a transparent background prepared in FS
  2. if you just need to color the letters - it’s just =) I don’t remember the separate transparency property of the element in css =)
