In the process of installing the new fedora 26 beta system, I installed it on the same disk, where windows was (I pinched some space from windows using shrink). The system has 2 physical disks. After the reboot, as if nothing had happened, the interface between windows 10 and windows 7 (not grub) started up. The size of the second disk has decreased, so linux has created a partition for itself. I looked through Disk Manager, it is there, but there is no name, and writes that it is 100% free. And yes, it is not bootable. Now how can I configure it so that when I start it, I can choose what I need to run - fedora or the old windows 10 and 7 bootloader.

  • Today once again reinstalled. There definitely was a boot loader installation phase. As then, there is only one boot partition and it is on another disk, not where I put the system - mlkond
  • You need to find out if uefi is installed. (most likely on uefi). If there are a lot of disks (physical), the installer can sometimes put the loader "not there" (I saw this). - KoVadim
