Good afternoon, I want to write an application directory in which there will be transitions between the Activity. But I don’t like the transition effect itself, it’s like a browser one. When we click on the links, a white window opens first and then the content appears.

Is it possible to make something like a full-fledged application? Or should all content be placed in one Activity?

    There is a special method that allows you to redefine animations.

    startActivity(new Intent(....)); overridePendingTransitions(0, 0);

    0, 0 is the exitAnimation and enterAnimation parameters. You can create an animation yourself and pass it to Id in this method. 0 means that there will be no animation in this case.

    • Thanks, tried your example. And you do not know, it is possible to make the transition without flickering, say as in games ?. There are imperceptible transitions occur, if they of course are there. - Sergiyss

      I don’t know about games. “first a white window opens, and after content appears” - there’s no way to go, because it takes time to render the content. You can make two fragments in one activation, and change them as necessary, then the activation will not be re-created, and the content change will become faster - mrBatonec
