How to change the port of connection to VMware Esxi 5.5 from 443 to another one from the Vsphere Client ?

1 answer 1

  1. connect to the host.
  2. edit /host/proxy.xml
  3. find the <ConfigRoot> and inside replace the value of the <httpsPort>443</httpsPort> with another. for example, <httpsPort>8081</httpsPort> .
  4. reboot server

All traffic on https will be redirected to a different port.
