  • it is better to write on what is convenient for you, if it is convenient for you to work with dreamweaver - work, if not, look for and try other solutions yourself . - Zowie

I would have forgotten about Drimiver, somehow I tried it about 5 years ago and still spit. But about Notepad ++ - do people need notebooks for you? Well, if you code normal projects is it really difficult to put a good editor for example NetBeans - Artem 2:58 pm

Notpead ++ is not just a notepad =) I tried both eclipse and netbeans and a great many of all kinds of ide, I did not feel any significant benefits. But on the brakes, without exception, God forbid Yes, and what a difference - as I already wrote, you need to use what is convenient for you and not what is fashionable - Zowie

  • If a person looked on the Internet, instead of creating another topic, he would get those answers that have already gone below. I just wanted to add some diversity to this chain from déjà vu :) - Arni

Netbeans Simplicity and efficiency. A lot of good reviews. I advise

He worked on notepad ++ all the time and until now, but still decided to use php to take the Eclipse IDE, in conjunction with np ++.

Look in the direction of bluefish , a good editor in my opinion.

at home Dreamweaver on win, on Ubunt Bluefish seems (usually just the gedit editor is enough :)), at work in general Visual Studio, by the way it is convenient (layout + js), you really have to install the plug-in, since the syntax does not seem to be supported if you write on asp.net, then Visual Studio is out of tune))
Recently, in general, Notepad ++ is increasingly being used, because the computer is old, so as not to slow down))))))

I use Visual Studio and Aptana Studio

I work through Notepad++ for remote connection using the FTP_synchronize + keep alive plugin connection mode so that the connection does not terminate.

NotePade ++ - no problems and everything you need is there: lighting, autocompletion and various plugins.

                WebStorm - JetBrains
I can not imagine how to do without it. There is even a great JS debugger.
