Studying Java, began to learn Java I / O.

I can not understand what the threads? Is it like Theard / Runnable? Why so many varieties of io for example Objectio, DataIO, etc.

Help to understand this topic and learn. I wouldn't mind articles where everything is being chewed about, but in understandable language.

These are input / output streams. Used in serialization. Threads work differently.

The simplest explanation that I saw is in the book "Learning Java" by Katie Sierra, Bert Bates. You can download in VK, in the documents section.

    I / O Streams - Chapter 14.

    Thread page 518.
