I want to download the latest changes and get started. Made git pull , but after that git status shows Your branch is ahead of 'origin / master' by 15 commits

How to get rid of these commits? I just want to get the latest version and work.

  • git push - send your commits. If you want to roll back hard to the origin, then - git reset --hard origin/develop . I suspect that you pulled up changes from one branch and switched to another? or all your 15 commits? - Artem Gorlachev

@ArtemGorlachev, I foresee the next question: "I did a git reset --hard origin/develop , and all the changes that I made are gone" - insolor
  • There are no my changes yet, he added these commits after pull'a, I did reset --hard he writes that I am in the last branch now, but git status still shows our branch is ahead of 'origin / master' by 15 commits - Ruslan Ruslan

@insolor, but it will definitely be from scratch)) and you will immediately understand how it works - Artem Gorlachev
  • @ RuslanRuslan is not “he” commits added, these are your 15 commits. That is, on top of what is in origin/master , you have 15 more new commits. - Nick Volynkin
