Which parameter of the histogram function from the Lattice package is responsible for the horizontal orientation of the histogram? I need a horizontal bar chart.

The histogram is a special case of a bar chart, and for it there is a parameter horizontal = TRUE . See http://myrcodes.blogspot.com/2014/10/barchart-lattice-package.html
