I get JSON maps from Tiled Map Editor, but for some reason, instead of numbers in the data field, is symbol A. What can this be connected with?

Judging by the scheme, the data field stores the image in base64 format. Insert the contents of the data field in this online decoder - and click on “Generate Image”. The output will be a picture corresponding to the tile. base64 pictures do not necessarily contain numbers. It may well be a string consisting of one letter.
