I made a test class and run it with this command ( java 8 ):

 java -Xms512m -Xmx512m -XX:NewRatio=3 -verbose:gc -XX:+PrintGCTimeStamps App

In response, I get the error:

 Unrecognized VM option 'PrintGCTimeStamps' Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

A similar situation occurs with -XX:+PrintGCDetails and -XX:+PrintFlagsFinal .

What is the matter and how to set up correctly?
