Good day. There is a copy of Firebird (for testing), the original is located locally. In general, there is no difference between them, only for testing. I need to make a connection, but it gives an error, namely:

"Error while connecting to database:") fdb.fbcore.DatabaseError: ('Error while connecting to database:\n- SQLCODE: -902\n- Unable to complete network request to host "localhost".\n- Failed to establish a connection.', -902, 335544721)

This error indicates that the login information is incorrect. The bottom line is this, can I somehow get to know him? I have access to the computer on which the original is located, the main OS is Windows. It can be intercepted, or you can search for any configs in the program folder (the database is in it)

  • This error indicates that the login information is incorrect. - where does this information come from? The error message itself says something completely different. - D-side
  • @ D-side ( firebirdsql.su/doku.php?id=gdscodes ). Error -902 says that the wrong username and password. Your username and password are not defined. Ask your database administrator to set up an InterBase login. - Milkiweed Gtlt
  • By -902 there is an insane amount of possible errors. - D-side
