Does a Go license allow you to sell a finished product written on it? Something I can not deal with this issue? Or should the finished product also be Open Source?

  • one
github.com/golang/go/blob/master/LICENSE - this is the license, and as you can see there is a tick on commercial use, which means no problems - Buka
  • @Buka is only about the compiler itself, and the programs compiled using it do not concern, do not? - andreymal
  • read the text below, the use of the product in any form is subject to conditions, among which there is no restriction on commercial use - Buka
  • Thanks for answers. - Igor
  • IMHO restrictions can only be on the use of a specific compiler, but not on the language. Another 100,500 years ago there was a decree that the command system was not subject to licensing. Intel and AMD were tried. Intel wanted to forbid AMD to make processors with the same instruction set as the x86 one. But the court rejected such claims. - pepsicoca1

It is possible if all used packages do not have this restriction.

Can. BSD license does not prohibit.
