It is necessary to impose a page with a fixed side to the content menu. The width of the content is fixed, it should be located in the center.

When making tables, it does not work out to scroll normally. When doing divs, it’s impossible to center properly.

How to do it better?


The best option that I did was two tables (positioning: absolute + fixed), but the problem here is that the menu links are not clickable, because they are overlapped by a transparent cell in another table. Here is the page itself (I could not copy it here normally)

For the menu block in css we specify:

position: fixed; 

Centering center:

 margin: 0px /* или другое значение */ auto;
