Being engaged in the typesetting of sites I come across the fact that the code of some components is 90 percent identical. It turns out that I spend time writing almost the same code that I wrote earlier. I do not see the expediency. Naturally, a decision can come - use Bootstrap or its equivalent. I think that a modern web developer is obligatory for understanding. At the same time, ready-made frameworks and libraries are not “suffered”: you don’t understand them from the inside, you need to spend time studying them, you don’t like something, you don’t understand something, etc.

In such a situation, as I see it, the most appropriate solution is to create your own library, the code of which will then be inserted into the right places and just be adapted.

Therefore, the following questions arise:

  1. Where is more detailed information on this topic?
  2. What keywords can you independently find information on the Internet?
  3. How do you, gentlemen, use your libraries ? If so, how do you create, organize, replenish, etc.?
  4. And what recommendations can throw those who deeply owns BEM (BEM)?
  • I will be offended if you do not justify for what reason the question is stupid. - Kniga
  • Well, since you are not the first to make up the day, you already know the answer ... That's why stupid ... And interesting, because the idea is not new, but it is brilliant ... - Air

What exactly is not clear when creating your library for use? Everything is just the same, spend 2-3 days on its creation and save a lot of time in the future - Alexxosipov

Just create a css file and make yourself the rule, what selectors how to call ... I am sure you already have some established rules ... And you will have your own bootstrap)))))) - Air
  • I can assume that, from your point of view, every more or less experienced web developer already has its own library. And apparently, from your point of view, the creation of a library for yourself is such an obvious solution that it does not even require any discussion. Right? - Kniga
