Options: tab bar controller (there are disadvantages, because you need to make a common button for all tabs, and you need a swipe between tabs), segmentedcontrol or PageViewController?

    I think in your situation it is better to use your UIViewController or UITableViewController for each type. All this is placed in the Conteiner View Controller , and its in turn on the UIViewController where the button presses and animations will be worked out. It will be more convenient to maintain the tables separately, than to do everything in one place and create a massive controller.
