For example, I have an account on bitbucket.org. The first time I do git push, I enter my username and password, it remembers it. How can I reset it?

Try to just reset the user data and the next time you call git push you will be asked for new data:

 git config --global --unset user.password
  • no, it doesn't work - Jonny Manowar
  • @JonnyManowar you may not have a global setting, but for a project, try removing --global from the line. - Yaroslav Molchan
  • It doesn't work either - Jonny Manowar
  • This is in git credential (or git credential it is there) remembered - a separate entity. - 0andriy
