My debian8 was originally located on the sda8 disk, everything worked

scr

after several tricks with the size of partitions from under windows7, debian8 moved to disk (hd0,2) and grub is loaded only after console commands

set root=(hd0,2) set prefix=(hd0,2)/boot/grub insmod normal normal

Tell me how to configure the bootloader so that during each boot you do not enter these commands?

  • Re-installing it will solve the problem exactly. - D-side
  • If it is possible to boot or at least log into the system, then just update the config ... as it is written in the /etc/default/grub header. You can manually fix / /boot/grub/grub.cfg . PS: this is the second rude, right? - Fat-Zer
  • @ D-side When reinstalling, errors fall out - user254893

  • @ Fat-Zer, it will boot into the system, but the sudo update-grub command did not help - user254893
