I have already googled about this property, I think I understand the meaning of its action, but not always. Explain that it specifically does with float elements, and with ordinary ones. But first take a look here . Why, if you remove the overflow property, everything disappears, how does it solve something here? I will be grateful for the answer :)

    Overflow works in the same way with blocks and does not depend on the way they are positioned. In your example, if you remove the overflow property of a navbar, it collapses because of float elements inside and the lack of clearfix of the navbar.
