Does an app downloaded in the App Store have any connection with certificates and provisioning profiles?

In other words, if, after downloading the application in the App Store, go to the organization’s account and delete all the certificates available there: Development, Distribution, APNs Development, Apple Push Services, and all provisioning profiles: Development and Distribution, will the application be downloaded and installed on user devices (both before and after this removal), to work without problems?

And if the answer is yes, no problem, then as a result, the next question is: if after all this, you need to re-create all the necessary new certificates and provisioning profiles, collect the new version of the same application with them and upload it to the App Store, then the old version Being previously installed on users' devices, and after that will it still work without problems?

  • I won’t say for sure, but everything should be fine if you delete them (serial certificates) already in the build that people download, and with new certificates there should not be any problems, because they are made on appID, + certificates have expiration dates (you can see when it expires ) - Andrey Iskamov
  • @AndreyIskamov, do you think that deleting even an Apple Push Services certificate will not be a problem? - tmm
  • Well, I did not come across such a question, these are only thoughts) - Andrey Iskamov
