Good afternoon, comrades! The situation is as follows : there are two people who work on creating websites using CMS Wordpress. We impose remotely from each other. Sometimes it happens that both need to change the same file. And you have to wait until the partner finishes his work, because when I save all his changes will fly, and vice versa. The question of this order is : how can we properly organize work so that we can impose further on remotely, without interfering with each other. I’ve said that such a thing can be organized with the help of Github, but I did not find an sensible article. Only about Github Pages, which is suitable only for statics.
- oneYes, you make your branch on the gita and write your code there, and your friend. We do not interfere with each other. Read or this. - entithat
- oneWhich one is that one? style. css? Make a couple of @include in it and write each to your file, business something. - KAGG Design
- Thank. As I understand it, you can make a repository with the project (for example, with the theme folder). I forgot to clarify - it is also important to be able to view the result of both. Is it possible to realize this? - Vlad Gorpinich
- In addition to the above, here are described the bonuses that git will give.stackoverflow.com/questions/539995#540065 - Goncharov Alexander
- @entithat only IMHO - branches are inconvenient for small teams, especially for beginners. It is much easier to work in one branch - just be able to edit merge conflicts (elementary skill) - Goncharov Alexander

You need to use a version control system. In the comments, you were offered to use Git and I fully agree with these people. It allows you to work on one file at the same time, to see which of you did, to resolve controversial situations if you changed the same line in one file, and much more (for example, create temporary versions of your site).
