Sometimes it happens that both need to change the same file. And you have to wait until the partner finishes his work, because when I save all his changes will fly, and vice versa. The question of this order is : how can we properly organize work so that we can impose further on remotely, without interfering with each other. I’ve said that such a thing can be organized with the help of Github, but I did not find an sensible article. Only about Github Pages, which is suitable only for statics.

You need to use a version control system. In the comments, you were offered to use Git and I fully agree with these people. It allows you to work on one file at the same time, to see which of you did, to resolve controversial situations if you changed the same line in one file, and much more (for example, create temporary versions of your site).
