The input attribute has an autocomplete attribute, here are the docks for it. https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/form-control-infrastructure.html#autofill-field

And these fields perfectly substitute information, if it is in the profile of a Google account. But if there is no data there, then they should be remembered after the form and be available for substitution at the next input. Right?

The form itself has autocomplete = "on"

So how to make chrome shut up and take my data ?

  • probably you just have autocompletion disabled in your browser settings - koroche_vot
  • @koroche_vot, prntscr.com/i59r78 - agimgal
  • one
I do not understand what the trap is, in the sandbox works jsfiddle.net/4n69s6sg - koroche_vot
  • @koroche_vot, thanks, apparently there were some locally some problems, now I can at least test - agimgal
  • then, if not difficult - mark the answer) - koroche_vot
