Launched on MacOS MAMP. When contacting google chrome at http://some.dev, the browser automatically replaces the address with https://some.dev . But with Yandex Browser everything is fine. The point is in MAMP or in the browser. I tried this solution with Habra , it did not help. Can anyone come across?

Google has registered the dev domain (and many other gTLDs).
18 (a). Describe the mission / purpose of your proposed gTLD.
Gtld will provide you with the “dev.”, “Dev.”, “Dev.” -level domains specific to its projects in development.
Starting in Google Chrome 63, .dev is included in the list with HTTP Strict Transport Security Security. Therefore, all requests for it are redirected to HTTPS.
Google programmers are comfortable, and you have to use another domain. For example, some.test or same.localhost ( https://www.iana.org/assignments/special-use-domain-names/special-use-domain-names.xhtml )
- Somewhere here I already mentioned that the same chrome forcibly resolves localhost to 127.0.0.1 even if something else is written in the hosts file, which can create problems with virtual networks in virtual machines - andreymal
- @andreymal yes, it just seemed to me that the topical user needed 127.0.0.1. Added a list of special domains to choose from. - I will not give direct links, because uncomfortable from the phone: ( - PashaPash ♦
There is a strange way to get around this ban. You need to enter the magic word badidea on the page and Chrome will be badidea to the site.
