It is very convenient to maintain content in two languages on one domain. However, there was such a problem that, indicated in almost any plugin, you can hide the content if there is no translation for this page or entry. However, I still see posts in Russian in the English part. How to hide them in the end? because not all entries make sense of translation into both languages. or in such cases it is worth creating 2 different sites?

Updated: I understand why they do not hide in Russian records. because initially the plugin duplicates entries in two languages. if you delete content in one of the languages, then the entry is not displayed in another language. but if I have +100 entries. so adjust each ..... how to fix it?

  • There is no such problem with WPML. - KAGG Design

What plugins have you tried?

I used qTranslate X (until it was abandoned) and WP Multilang . I did not notice such a problem. Perhaps not all the checkboxes have been set in the settings? If the problem persists, then try contacting the support forum of the plugin you are using.

  • It was them that used and put the checkmarks. maybe of course the problem is that he takes info from the browser settings, the Russian language, because the records are visible. but qTranslate X itself has been almost 3 years without updates, but the site has stopped working at all with WP Multilang and for some reason began to point to a private redirect, I wonder how and where - user278690
