For Youtube, I removed a section of unconstructive (as is usually the case) comments with this code in the Stylish extension:

ytd-item-section-renderer { display: None; }

Does it seem to me or does this method actually speed up page loading?

    Maybe. Measure by loading different pages from different computers. Stack Overflow will not help you in this matter. - D-side
  • Not. At first the page is loaded, then styles from styles are introduced, in the end there will be all stages including drawing of elements and only then you will remove them. If these elements affect the page rerender, then perhaps it will help with the use of the page, but not when loading the page. - MedvedevDev

No, this will not speed up the download, it's just setting the style to "do not display." The content itself is loaded the same way as before.

In addition, stylish works after the page loads.

On the other hand, the display also takes up computer resources, but it’s so small, of course I didn’t take measurements, but it could be a fraction of a percent of the total time and cost of displaying a page.
