How to download .xpi (Cross platform install) file from Firefox extension?

- Go to the site http://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox
- Find the desired extension.
- Right-click the Add to firefox button and select Save link as ("Save object as")
- Save the .xpi file where we want for later analysis.

Actually, if you think so ... then you don’t download the .xpi file to the firefox, because the application tracks the downloading of files in .xpi-format and immediately offers to install it and not download it.

- yes .. firefox immediately gives out modally the "installation of extension" window ... well, you can throw the link in chrome, and that one will certainly not swear, but download it to the hard disk where the user specifies ... then you can unpack it with a zip-archiver and see what for the code in the extension .. - red_python
