Good day to all. It so happened that I use SQL Server Compact as a DBMS. Actually it satisfies all the requirements, but there is one problem. The database file, according to its specifics, is moved between the PDA and the PC. On the PDA, a database is created. Next is the PC. The PC fills it with information and returns the PDA back. The problem is that when connecting to a database on a PDA, after booting from a PC, the long stage of building index tables begins. The question is, how can you get the indexing pages in the code even when the database is on the PC side?

  • Isn't it easier in such a situation to switch to a normal SQL Server? - Tivyram
  • will not work, because the application runs on a PDA without network access. - Tom Dugger
