Hello, I am just learning how to create websites. There are a couple of questions for experienced users:

What CMS do web studios and freelancers use in creating websites are only interested in WHAT YOU PERSONALLY USE and why?

Another question is that I am familiar only with Joomla. Do additional components become obsolete in other CMS like photo galleries when updating CMS version like in Joomla?

And the last bit of reading, I got the impression that the site developers do not like Joomla, but why I did not understand.

And something that someone familiar with Joomla has just released a new version 2.5. Should I use it or use 1.6 or 1.7? What is the difference? Isn't raw 2.5 and how can it be worse than old versions?

Thanks in advance for the answers.

The question gives rise to endless debates and discussions based not on knowledge, but on opinions. To get an answer, rephrase your question so that it can be given an unambiguously correct answer, or delete the question altogether. If the question can be reformulated according to the rules set out in the certificate , edit it .

If on a hosting where joomla costs php, I will calmly go into the database and do whatever I want with it.

Not a freelancer, but also noted. I work with Abo.CMS: there are no normal docks, I have not seen any third-party modules. But. High-quality technical support, an affiliate program works (you can earn money on it), having understood the logic of the CMS, it is easy to rivet something new on it. Plus, the system is user friendly and can be trained to use it.
