I want to find out from experienced admins how they monitor new updates for client and server machines running Windows and test them. I am more or less aware of how to do this for client machines (I looked at the logs of changes in the new update, put it on a test computer, worked with user software, digged for a day or two, if everything is in order, you can set it up) I’m not going to use the servers, I’m confused by the possibility of sudden software conflicts or the possibility of any software to fall off at all due to a new update. Maybe there is an article that is useful, which I have not found or can anyone share their experience? Thank you in advance!

  • I personally disconnected the updates, it costs windows 7 serv, and windows 2013 server, it works for 3 years while there were no problems - Edward Kamalov
