I understand, probably, that stupid question. But wherever I go, everywhere is the link to the GitHub repository with the source code or to the page where there is a download link for GTK and Mono, but not for the monodevelop itself. There redirection with monodevelop.com. And there is an inscription:

MonoDevelop for Windows is available from source only

So, if I want to monitor MonoDevelop on Windows, should I download the source code and compile it? Is there really no compiled version on the network?

  • Everything would be fine, only when compiling Main.sln a bunch of errors and missing libraries. For example, a bunch of unknown types, like TextLocation, MethodDefinition, etc. Non-found namespaces, for example, ICSharpCode.NRefactory. Perhaps they are not connected to the link. But where do these links come from? Are they not connected initially? - Alexander
  • The readme is simply written + You can debug MonoDevelop using Visual Studio (on Windows or macOS) with the + main/Main.sln solution. Use the DebugWin32 configuration on Windows and the DebugMac configuration on macOS. - Alexander
  • And that's all. 402 mistakes :))) - Alexander
  • I found some kind of guid here monodevelop.com/developers/building-monodevelop/ I 'll try - Alexander
  • Damn, there are 79 more projects. Which of them is set to run ??? - Alexander
