Can not see the EditText fields in RecyclerView in another layout

Created RecyclerView with CardView. Everything works, the data is set via the adapter, but I cannot read the text from the EditText when I click on the button. PS: for some reason all the properties of EditText through the debugger are shown as Null or -1. What could be the problem?
