    In the designer, right-click on the DataGrid and in the context menu select "Edit Additional Templates" - "Edit CellStyle" - "Edit a Copy", select where to save the style. Now add another trigger to the style:

    <Trigger Property="IsMouseOver" Value="True"> <Setter Property="Background" Value="Red"/> </Trigger>

    Do not forget that the triggers work in the order of their definition, so choose the right place for it.
