In Laravel there used to be an official Html & Forms package and it was recently removed. The look was roughly like this:

{!! Form::open(['url' => 'foo/bar']) !!} // {!! Form::close() !!}

Came across a third-party site where they continue to support this package laravelcollective.com ...

The Laravel developers have never explained the reason for the removal of this package.

Question : Is there any vulnerability in these forms and is it worth continuing to use them?

  • core components do not require separate installation. This component has been removed from the core , so now it is installed separately. - Kosta B.
