My working laptop has small dimensions (if you measure the screen with a ruler), but at the same time it has a resolution that is crazy for these sizes: 1920x1080. Those. Well, the screen fits a lot of pixels. The trouble is that when I work with java swing, everything displayed on the screen is terribly small (for example, on conventional monitors the 50x20 pixels button will be 5x2 centimeters, if measured with a ruler, and I have 2x0.8). Every time I really don't want to change the sizes of the components, fonts and the window itself, but it’s hard to work as it is - eyes deteriorate.
The question is how to do some global re-scaling so that the swing increases everything in general when drawing. Everywhere for a pixel, let's say, drew 4.
Extras: I already have 150% scale of windows personalization settings, and all applications, be it a browser, Skype, ide, are all scaled, but there is no swing application. Even the applications of other developers are terribly small. Apparently java at the openGL level draws everything by measuring in pixels and scaling from OS-Windows does not save ...
