Under 27, everything works. True, the driver was installed there on 23 and gradual updates reached 27. And there was a choice of driver versions 304 or 340 (for old and new video cards), and now there is no such thing. It seems to me that the card is no longer supported.

Is it possible to run proprietary firewood at 28? This is necessary because Blender is not very stable at nouveau.

NVidia driver is not friendly with nouveau, if you installed nvidia manually, then manually remove nouveau, blacklist it

 /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf : ... blacklist nouveau ...

If not, install the nvidia driver again.
