Is the spelling backend on js and frontend on ts correct? I use postgresql express node angular 4. I use sequuelize as orm. So, sequelize (as for a newbie) is difficult to translate into ts and therefore you want to transfer back to js and leave the front to ts.

On sequilize is definetlyTyped. Look here . It should just be uploaded to the project and everything will be fine. That is, you can write a backend on ts. There is no need to do extra moves towards js since ts generally understands js but is not ts.
