Hello everyone, I have a question. I’m writing a c # program, something like AIMP (just for practice) and a familiar programmer told me that I would use SQLite, I would re-search a whole lot and I can’t understand: WHY DO I NEED THIS SQLITE ?! I do not understand why these databases are needed. Tell me who knows or skip the link to info. Thank you in advance.

- If you are writing a desktop application, use the firmware (assuming you are using Visual Studio). To begin, describe in more detail the application (meaning the software that you use for writing) that you write. Databases, too, are different, but perform one main function - they store data. The remaining functions may differ depending on the type of database and DBMS. - Vitaliy Shebanits
- And in general, why does an Aimp application need a database ??? Playlist store? - Vitaliy Shebanits
- And the application settings? I at all do not for what these DB. - Kirill Stepankov

If you do not know why you need a database, it means that you do not need it. At least not yet needed. Wait for the answer for what the database is needed for you, it does not make sense, since only you know all the requirements for your application.
- I'm a beginner, and I'm trying to figure out everything that I don't understand. So for what the DB is necessary? - Kirill Stepankov
- @KirillStepankov you will not explain such things, since it is googled in 10 seconds. Database , Database Management System , Relational Database Management System - tym32167
- Clear. Thank). - Kirill Stepankov
