It is necessary to filter the initial data set, on the basis of which visualizations are displayed, by date: 1. from the beginning of the current year 2. from the beginning of the current quarter 3. from the beginning of the current month.

The report should contain lines whose dates after the beginning of the selected period.

The difficulty is that you need the ability for the user to switch the period in the report without selecting a specific year / quarter / month . Those. The user must click on the period name (in the slicer?), the starting date of the period should automatically be determined by the current date and the data are recalculated using the filtered set.

Individually, the tasks are all understandable, but how to implement it all together in the framework of the Power BI functionality is not clear. Any ideas?

In the slicer this will not work. For this you need a drop-down list. I suggest in the query editor to add three columns based on the date. Then in BI you need to select the SmartFilter by OKViz element, you need to select them three and add the date (quarter, year, month) to each in turn
