There is a site that does not work on it. There is an ip server 185.143.56.255 where this site lies. I need to go to it somehow, I'm a teapot, maybe I need to turn on the dns somehow, or maybe the site can be accessed via ip and not through a domain, something like this: edu.185.143.56.255.com (doesn't work)?
- The ip address is already mapped to its name (which is what the dns server does). So come on ip - Justicet
- @Justicet, the domain name is transferred to the http server. and so he can by ip can give at all what he gives when addressing by name. - Fat-Zer
- @ Fat-Zer Your refinement makes sense when there are several resources with different names on one ip. I indicated in the standard version: one ip - one name. - Justicet
- @Justicet, even with one resource, everything depends on the server settings - it can simply not give anything by ip ... and with the third level domain, like at OP, this ip will almost certainly have something else to spin ... - Fat-Zer
- @ Fat-Zer by and large, the initiator has not covered any details. I assume in my posts that it is necessary to get to the server to perform the settings of this site. Therefore, what the http-server will give us is absolutely all the same, because it is not supposed to use it. Here is the most important question for the vehicle: what does it mean to "get to the site"? What do we want to do? - Justicet

Look for the
hostsfile on your system. In any Linux, this is usually/etc/hosts, in Windows it isC:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hostsAdd a line to this file (and save the file):
185.156.41.232 edu.quarnuts.com
Open the browser, and type in it http://edu.quarnuts.com/
