I deleted mySQL v5.5.29 completely (directories, too, DB, too).
I put it again (second day, 120th attempt). Mostly stumbles on the application of security policies.
But strangely, through Navicat I connect without a password, although in the installation you cannot leave the password empty (I put the password there). enter image description here

Login via Navicat, localhost, root user, empty password:

Although through the console without a password is not included: enter image description here

What is the problem and how to fix it?
MySQLInstanceConfig.exe also did not help, I tried to change the password through it - it hangs on the application of security policies.

PS By the way, I go through mySQL Workbench too. Maybe through them (Navicat, Workbench) can I somehow change the password?

As everything turned out to be simple.
I changed the password to the standard specified users (root @ *) for this connection via Navicat and that's it.
The mySQL installation does not know how it behaves now and why it did not accept the password from the installation that I entered, because there was no database and even directories (!), But there is no time to check / find out the reasons. The main thing so far for me is that the software has earned (we need to refine it).
I previously changed the password in Navicat, but with subsequent reinstallation it did not help.
Therefore, I think the problem may come out somewhere, sometime later. Again when reinstalling the DBMS.
