1. Cannot bind a server to a transport ... because another computer on the network has a matching name. Server startup is not possible.

  2. The file and printer sharing resource ... is available on the network, but does not respond to connection attempts.

I get the first error after establishing a connection with the Windows VPN server, on the machine to which I am trying to share. The second error I get when diagnosing connection errors to the machine.

I can connect to the machine I need via RDP, and it turns out to open the shared folders of my VPN server from it, but on the contrary it does not work. There are no computers on the network that have the same name. In the local network everything works, the network is private, the antivirus does not block, NB is enabled.

What could be the problem?

    Hello,

According to your decoding, the error code is 720. This behavior may occur if your computer and the RAS server do not have a common protocol, or if the RAS is not configured correctly. Or, the connection attempt failed because your computer and remote computer could not agree on a PPP control protocol.

I would suggest that you first reinstall the TCP / IP protocol and disable Ipv6 from using (for Ipv4 only) on the client side.

If the question still persists, refer to the following link for more information, many suggestions and practices have been mentioned.
