There is a file where the opera settings are stored:

C: \ Users \ username \ AppData \ Roaming \ Opera Software \ Opera Stable \ Preferences

It has the parameter startup_urls:[] . My parser (written in Delphi) searches for it and modifies it by adding Site.ru then the file is saved.

The fact is that the opera revives the old settings when it is launched! How to get around this?

  • Are you sure the parser is working? Is the string exactly replaced? Is the modified file saved correctly? What exactly do you want to achieve? The question is very incomprehensible. Rephrase it. Now it’s not at all clear how Delphi can help prevent Opera from loading the old settings. - Dima
  • It changes the startup_urls parameter and another parameter that makes the start page open, the start page is set and another parameter is also added to the page but the item does not change in the settings so that the start page loads and not the new tab or the last page - Aimon Z.
