The disk has such a folder /mnt/diskD/webserver/htdocs/website/files/css

  • Permissions: -rwx------ files, -drwx------ folders
  • Owner: me

When I try to open a file (for example, animations.css), however, I get an error

Could not open the file /mnt/diskD/webserver/htd...ite/files/css/animate.css. You do not need to open the file.

sudo nano animations.css - the same Access denied error

And strange behavior in different folders at different levels:

  • /mnt/diskD/webserver/htd…ite/files/ files open.
  • /mnt/diskD/webserver/htd…ite/files/node_modules files open.
  • /mnt/diskD/webserver/htd…ite/files/js files are NOT opened.
  • /mnt/diskD/webserver/htd…ite/files/css files are NOT open.

Do you have the ntfs-3g driver installed?

In my fstab file, the mounting of Windows drives is written as follows:

 # Диски Windows /dev/sda2 /mnt/disk_c ntfs-3g defaults,locale=en_US.utf8 0 0 /dev/sda3 /mnt/disk_d ntfs-3g defaults,locale=en_US.utf8 0 0

And everything works without problems.

The only thing I know is that in ntfs these folders can be encrypted. Only open in Windows with a specific user who has encrypted. It is necessary in Windows under this user to disable encryption of these folders. I have this folder at home:
