Now the choice has become wider, for example, Flutter has appeared - it allows you to manage 1 project for ios AND android. This framework is from Google, the language of dart (a mixture of js and java). In my opinion, not a very convenient thing, damp, but this is just my opinion.

Reactnative is very popular, they position themselves as a separate lib, i.e. NOT a webview app. The main language seems to be js (one project on android and ios). Many large companies use it, such as Tesla.

Why do I avoid advising you to develop WebView application? It's simple - this is an extra layer. View part of your application will be on html and css. Sooner or later the architecture will skew and you will start sending ajax requests from Html, but at the same time continue to work with the base and the kernel through the framework. If you need exactly this, look towards Cordova.

If you need one android project, is it easier for mb to write it on a cotlin, without getting involved in a cross platform? I assure you that there will be enough problems and tasks anyway.

Oh yeah, at the expense of the Play Market. Play Market takes almost everything. He sets the trend and the basics. No one will do a framework / library without basic support for the play market. So you can not worry about it. Perhaps there will be some features, but they are not difficult to solve.
