Faced a problem, there is a check on which there is a barcode, when reading, I get this code 023DC58D95E. Help determine in what format this code? Or what data can it contain? what encoding? Something completely crazy I will not put. I attach scan check with information. The program is written, for entering checks into the database, the person just takes the check with him and the data is stored on another server, a local database is made, for verification later on with the main one, but if this is some kind of encoding, I don’t know what to do with it.
- It can be anything. can this generally ID the record of this check in the database of the system and does not contain any specific data from the check - Mike
- Usually such CCs are simply an internal code for writing to the database, a checksum of the document can ... i.e. does not carry a semantic load for you, only for those who "created" this check - Vladimir Klykov
- 16-bit, some kind of hash most likely 02 3D C5 8D 95 E - but one character is missing - NewView
- I also thought 16-year-old ..... I agree with your opinions, but you never know, as they say their head is not enough, you need more heads))) - Qunn
- @NewView Why the hash? Any data can be written in hexadecimal form. And why "not enough letters", no one said that the amount of data must be a multiple of 8 bits. - Mike
