When I launch Visual Studio Code or Atom, the system immediately crashes, just logs out, what to do?

Why do you use IDE for Windows under Ubuntu? There is the same gedit or even notepadqq - Adokenai

@Adokenai To start, VS Code and Atom are on Ubuntu, both are downloaded from Ubuntu Software - LazyTechwork

I do not claim that these software products are missing on * nix. I'm wondering why initially use windows-directed applications on * nix systems. The answer to your question can be a simple transition to similar software for your OS. - Adokenai

@Adokenai follow the links, you will understand everything. You can install in several ways, almost everyone knows. But then the question is not about that. And Visual Studio Code was originally written on all systems, including Linux systems - LFC

I have been using Atom and VSCode on Xubuntu for about 3 years and have never encountered a similar one. Most likely you have something seriously broken in the system. I advise you to reinstall. If it does not help, then you have to dig into the logs. About gedit and notepadqq - they were not standing next to each other. To say that text editors can be an alternative to IDE (and even better) is ridiculous. - Beast Winterwolf

And so, let's get down to solving the problem.

It is possible to start without a graphic card with the help of a crutch in the form of launching a program with an argument - --disable-gpu , having more walked through the settings items, I found a window with drivers, so I changed different drivers (I have 3 of them), as a result the following option came up: Software & Updates Window
