I got terrible rumors that there is no JVM on iOS. Moreover, terrible rumors reached me that Apple would not allow JVM to be installed on iOS.

Questions:

  1. Is it so? Is there really no JVM on iOS?
  2. Is it so? Does Apple really not allow to install JVM on iOS?

Under MacOS, standard Java is set> = 8, information is here.

Under iOS, OpenJDK is crooked and oblique , through emulation and all that.

    There are jvm implementations for iOS. This is the answer to both the first and second question.
